Footprint Finding
The package family, pad count, pitch, row spacing, body outline, and pin-1 indication match the Microchip SN 8-lead SOIC package. The only dimensional variance found is the pad copper size: current footprint uses approximately 0.65 mm × 1.50 mm pads, while Microchip’s recommended land pattern gives 0.60 mm × 1.55 mm. This is a small generic-SOIC land-pattern deviation, not a pinout/package mismatch.
Flagged Mismatches / Issues
  1. No pin mapping mismatches found. All 8 terminal names and pin numbers match the datasheet.
  2. Pin descriptions are missing. The terminals do not currently include Pin Description properties derived from the datasheet.
  3. Pin electrical types are incomplete. All terminals are set to Pin Type: Unspecified instead of Output/Input/Power/Ground.
  4. Footprint pad size differs slightly from Microchip recommended land pattern. Current pads are about 0.65 mm × 1.50 mm; datasheet recommends 0.60 mm × 1.55 mm.
  5. Datasheet URL is populated but not the official Microchip direct URL. Because the field was already set, I did not change it. The existing uploaded PDF appears to be the same datasheet family; the official direct PDF URL is listed above.
  6. Description is accurate but not complete. It correctly captures comparator, CMOS, push-pull, rail-to-rail, TTL/CMOS compatibility, and 8-SOIC; it omits that the part is dual, sub-microamp, and internally hysteretic.
  • Add datasheet-derived Pin Description values for all 8 pins.
  • Change terminal Pin Type values to Output/Input/Power/Ground as appropriate.
  • Optionally change the Datasheet URL from the uploaded storage URL to the official Microchip direct PDF URL.
