Part Review Datasheet Check

The part already has a Datasheet URL set, so I won’t overwrite it unless the cross-check shows it’s the wrong document. I’m extracting the pinout, package, and key regulator specs now.
I updated the Datasheet URL to Microchip’s official MCP1825/MCP1825S PDF and am checking the 5-lead SOT-223 pinout and land pattern against the current symbol and footprint.

  • Tab pad has the 3.20 mm dimension aligned across the tab/pin-span direction and appears consistent with the datasheet X2 dimension. Row-to-tab spacing appears approximately consistent with the 6.10 mm contact spacing, though exact Microchip datum interpretation should be verified against the mechanical drawing if strict land-pattern matching is required.
Mismatches / issues found
  1. Datasheet URL was not the official Microchip URL; updated to the official Microchip PDF.
  2. Pin descriptions and precise pin types were missing/unspecified; corrected with datasheet-backed descriptions.
  3. Pin 3 was named simply GND while the datasheet labels it GND (TAB). Kept the terminal name for usability but added description noting it is common with the tab.
  4. Minor footprint deviation: small lead pad length is 2.00 mm instead of the datasheet land-pattern 1.90 mm. Flagged as low severity.
Overall conclusion
The part metadata, schematic pin mapping, package selection, and footprint are substantially consistent with the Microchip datasheet for MCP1825T-3302E/DC. No blocking pinout or package mismatch was found. The only remaining caveat is the small lead pad length being 0.10 mm longer than the extracted recommended land pattern, which is low risk but worth tightening if the goal is exact datasheet land-pattern fidelity.
