Datasheet Review

I found an official Analog Devices PDF and the part already has a Datasheet URL set, so I’m using the official PDF for the verification without changing that property. The main issue so far is metadata/package naming: the current Package or Case Code is TO, while the datasheet calls this 10‑TDFN‑EP, 3 × 3 mm, package code T1033+1C.
Completed the datasheet review and updated MAX17615ATB+ Part Datasheet Review.
Open items:
  • Datasheet URL already exists, so I did not change it; the document notes the better direct ADI PDF URL.
  • Mismatches flagged: Package or Case Code = TO, library subtype Logic / AND, and suspicious mount = Reverse.
  • Symbol pinout and pin descriptions match the datasheet; footprint looks broadly consistent but should be validated against ADI land pattern 90-0003 for production release.
Suggested next steps:
  1. Correct the package metadata to T1033+1C / 10-TDFN-EP 3x3.
  2. Normalize the Datasheet URL to the direct ADI PDF.
  3. Fix the library classification metadata from logic to power-management/current-limiter.

Datasheet URL Handling
A Datasheet URL was already present, so no Datasheet property update was required by the user’s condition. The existing URL is a legacy Maxim product URL; the official direct PDF found during review is the Analog Devices URL listed above.

Symbol Assessment
  • All datasheet pins are present.
  • Pin numbers 1 through 10 match the datasheet exactly.
  • The exposed pad is represented as Flux pin/pad 11 and clearly described as EP tied to GND, which is acceptable.
  • Pin descriptions closely match the official datasheet wording.
  • FLAG and UVOV are open-drain outputs in the datasheet. Flux uses Open Collector as the closest available ERC-equivalent open-output type.
  • Pin groups/sections are broad and single-assignment, consistent with the user’s stated symbol-organization preference.
Footprint Cross-Check
Current footprint asset/rule: SON50P300X300X80-11N.kicad_mod, described in the KiCad module as T1033+1C.
Observed footprint geometry:
  • 10 side pads plus pad 11 exposed pad.
  • 5 side pads per side.
  • 0.50mm pitch from y = -1.0, -0.5, 0, 0.5, 1.0mm on each side.
  • Side pad size: 0.30mm x 0.75mm, rotated 90°.
  • Pad x-locations: -1.5mm for pins 1-5, +1.5mm for pins 6-10.
  • Center exposed pad: 1.6mm x 2.4mm.
  • Fab body outline: 3.0mm x 3.0mm.
  • Pin-1 chamfer and silkscreen dot present.
Footprint Assessment
  • Pad count, body size, pitch, and exposed-pad presence are broadly consistent with the MAX17615ATB+ 10-TDFN-EP / T1033+1C package.
  • Pin numbering in the footprint appears consistent with the symbol and datasheet: pins 1-5 are on one side, pins 6-10 on the opposite side, with EP as pad 11.
  • The footprint should still be compared against ADI land pattern 90-0003 for production-grade validation, because the MAX17615 datasheet references the land pattern number but does not embed all numerical land-pattern dimensions.
  • No missing pads, extra functional pads, or obvious pitch/body-size mismatch were found.
Mismatches and Caveats
  1. Package metadata mismatch: Package or Case Code is currently TO; it should be corrected to T1033+1C, 10-TDFN, or 10 TDFN-EP 3x3 depending on the preferred property convention.
  2. Library subtype/classification mismatch: the library result reports part_sub_type = Logic and logicFunction = AND; this is incorrect for a current-limiting protection / power-management IC.
  3. Library mount field suspicious: the library result reports mount = Reverse; this does not describe the TDFN-EP surface-mount package and should be reviewed.
  4. Datasheet URL normalization: a Datasheet URL exists, so no required update was performed. The direct official PDF URL would be a better normalized datasheet value than the legacy Maxim product URL.
  5. Footprint precision caveat: the current footprint looks plausible and consistent, but exact land-pattern validation should use ADI land pattern 90-0003 / package outline 21-0137.
  • Correct Package or Case Code from TO to a TDFN-specific value.
  • Correct library classification from Logic / AND to a power-management current-limiter/protection category if the taxonomy supports it.
  • Review and correct the mount = Reverse library field.
  • Optionally normalize Datasheet URL to the direct ADI PDF.
  • If this part will be published or used for manufacturing, verify the footprint against ADI land pattern 90-0003 before release.
