Kycon USB-C receptacle part metadata appears incorrect/incomplete: library manufacturer facet is 'Other' despite Manufacturer Name=Kycon, connector subtype is RF/Coaxial instead of USB Type-C, all terminals have Pin Type=Unspecified and no Pin Description.

I found the reported issue scope and am now reading the live part properties and all 28 terminals before applying corrections.

The live part confirms all terminal electrical types are currently unspecified and descriptions are absent. I’m mapping each contact and shield pin to datasheet-correct metadata next.

All 28 terminals now have passive connector pin types and functional descriptions; I also corrected the public part description. I’m doing the final read-back and checking whether the manufacturer/subtype facets are editable from the part project.

Corrected all 28 terminals to Passive and added USB Type-C functional pin descriptions; also updated the part description to accurately identify the Kycon USB 4 Type-C receptacle.
  • Confirmed correct: MPN, Kycon manufacturer property, 24 USB contacts + 4 shield tabs, datasheet URL, and pin assignments.
  • Still incorrect: Library-index facets remain Manufacturer: Other and RF / Coaxial Connectors. These generated fields are not editable from the part project and should be corrected under the linked FLUX-13677 ticket to Kycon and USB Type-C connector.
  • The library search index still shows the old description, likely pending republish/reindex.
