Datasheet Review

Review all available part information (MPN, package, pin count, description, properties). If no datasheet URL is already set, search the web for the official datasheet and update the part's Datasheet property with the URL. Then cross-check the schematic symbol, footprint, and pin descriptions against the datasheet. Summarize key specs and flag any mismatches.
I’ll inspect the part metadata, find and attach the official datasheet if missing, then compare symbol/footprint/pins against the datasheet and report any discrepancies.
I inspected the current part project state but did not complete the datasheet update/cross-check before the run ended.
What worked:
  • Found this is a 2-terminal part project for IF-E97, with two schematic terminals:
    • Pin 1: passive
    • Pin 2: passive
  • Found the footprint includes:
    • 2 through-hole electrical pads
    • 2 non-plated mounting holes
    • Footprint asset text: LED_IF-E97.kicad_mod
    • Body/courtyard/silkscreen outline geometry
  • No project files currently exist.
What still needs to happen:
  • Confirm whether the part metadata includes an existing Datasheet URL property; the visible schematic terminal data did not show one.
  • Search for the official IF-E97 datasheet.
  • Update the part’s Datasheet URL property if missing.
  • Cross-check pin polarity, package outline, pad drill/diameter, mounting holes, and mechanical dimensions against the datasheet.
  • Create a concise review file summarizing key specs and any mismatches.
