Completed: audited the Quectel EG915U part, preserved all existing pin numbers/names, and assigned Pin Orientation, Section, and Terminal Order across all 126 terminals; power pins are first and GND pins are last. I also created the detailed review here: EG915U Part Audit and Pin Assignment.
Open items:
  • Datasheet URL was already set, so I did not replace it with a newer official Quectel link.
  • Pin descriptions and Pin Type remain unchanged per your “only assign properties” constraint.
  • Footprint has 126 pads, but geometry should be dimension-checked against the official land pattern before release.
Suggested next steps:
  1. Normalize cosmetic terminal names like USB_BOOT_, USIM1_VDD_, and ANT_BT/WIFI__SCAN.
  2. Populate Pin Description and Pin Type from the datasheet.
  3. Verify the footprint dimensions against the latest official Quectel hardware design PDF.

  4. Footprint count matches but geometry needs dimensional verification: layout summary shows 126 pads and the module 3D model. The layout readout reports very small pad coordinate/size values while the datasheet module is 23.6 mm x 19.9 mm; this may be a unit/readout scaling issue, but the land pattern should be verified against the official recommended footprint drawing before release.
  5. Datasheet usage cautions:
    • Pin 1 PSM_IND and pin 63 I2S_CLK are marked under development / not recommended for use.
    • USIM2 interface is under development / not recommended for the time being.
    • RESERVED/NC pins should remain unconnected.
    • All GND pins should be connected to ground.
