Metadata review
Audit complete. The existing Datasheet property already contains the correct Bel/Signal Transformer datasheet, so no update was needed; the MPN, 8-pin footprint geometry, electrical ratings, and pin numbering match.

Update the symbol with winding graphics, polarity dots, passive pin types, and datasheet-based pin descriptions.
I’ll update the transformer symbol graphics and terminal metadata, then verify all eight pin numbers, polarity indicators, types, and descriptions against the datasheet.
Updated the symbol with four winding graphics, magnetic core lines, and polarity dots at datasheet-defined pins 1, 3, 5, and 7. All eight pins are now Passive with winding- and polarity-specific descriptions; pin numbering and footprint mapping remain unchanged.

Datasheet polarity dots are at pins 1, 3, 5, and 7.
Symbol review
The symbol exposes all eight terminals on the correct sides and in the correct numeric groups: pins 1–4 primary and pins 5–8 secondary. However, the custom SVG is only a rectangular body with terminal stubs.
Symbol mismatches / quality flags
  • No transformer winding graphics are shown, so the symbol does not visually communicate that the part contains two primary and two secondary windings.
  • No polarity dots are shown. This is electrically important for correct series/parallel winding connections.
  • All terminal Pin Type properties are Unspecified; transformer terminals should normally be passive.
  • Pin Description properties are absent. Descriptions should identify winding number, voltage/rating context, and dotted/non-dotted polarity.
  • Secondary terminal names SEC_1 through SEC_4 are generic; they do not document the winding pairs 5–6 and 7–8 or polarity.
The numeric pin mapping itself is correct.
Footprint review
The DPC1270.kicad_mod footprint contains eight plated through-hole pads:
  • Same-row pitch: 5.08 mm
  • Row separation: 31.20 mm
  • Pad diameter: 1.862 mm
  • Drill diameter: 1.2414 mm
  • Body/Fab outline: 34.92 × 25.40 mm
  • Pads 1–4 occupy one row and pads 5–8 the opposite row, with numbering orientation matching the datasheet drawing.
Footprint status
  • Pad positions and pitch match the datasheet dimensions (A = 5.08 mm, B = 31.2 mm).
  • Body outline matches the datasheet's 1 VA package dimensions in plan view.
  • Datasheet terminal diameter is approximately 0.041 in / 1.041 mm; the 1.2414 mm drill provides about 0.20 mm diametral clearance, which is reasonable.
  • The footprint includes a pin-1 marker and a STEP model reference.
  • No footprint mismatch was identified from the available mechanical drawing.
Overall result
The part identity, electrical ratings, pin numbers, and footprint geometry are consistent with the official datasheet. The main deficiencies are in the schematic symbol semantics and terminal metadata, not the footprint: missing winding graphics, missing polarity dots, unspecified pin types, and missing pin descriptions. Package metadata is also not explicitly populated even though the correct footprint is attached.
