Part Audit Report Scope
Audit of the CM119B published part project against the C-Media CM119B USB Audio Single Chip datasheet, revision 1.0. The datasheet URL stored on the part is a third-party mirror of a manufacturer-authored document because C-Media's current download center does not expose a direct CM119B PDF.
Metadata Inventory Key Specifications
  • Crystal-free USB audio single-chip solution.
  • USB 2.0 full-speed and USB Audio Device Class 1.0 compliant.
  • Integrated 16-bit stereo DAC, earphone driver, 16-bit ADC, microphone boost, PLL, USB transceiver, oscillator, and regulators.
  • 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz playback and recording.
Audit complete. The Datasheet URL is now set to the C-Media-authored rev. 1.0 PDF mirror; all 48 pin numbers/names and the LQFP-48 footprint mapping match, but every pin lacks electrical type and description metadata, and the rendered symbol is unreadable.
Full specifications, footprint checks, and prioritized mismatches are in the Part Audit Report.
Open items
  • The PDF is a third-party mirror because C-Media’s current site exposes no direct CM119B PDF.
  • Exact STEP-model dimensions and seating remain unverified.
Populate datasheet-backed pin types, descriptions, functional groups, orientations, and terminal ordering for all 48 pins.
I’ll update all 48 terminals from the datasheet, using broad functional groups with Section matching Pin Group, then verify every pin’s number, type, description, orientation, and ordering plus the rendered symbol.
Populated and verified all 48 pins with datasheet-backed electrical types, descriptions, functional groups, matching sections, orientations, and deterministic terminal ordering. Power is Top starting at order 1, Ground is Bottom starting at order 10, and all pin numbers and footprint mappings remain unchanged.

  • The symbol renderer still displays some text glyphs as boxes, although the underlying pin names and metadata are correct.
Provide a concise direct to the point best description for this part based from the datasheet. i don't need a very long but useless description.
Crystal-free USB 2.0 full-speed audio codec with 16-bit stereo DAC, headphone driver, microphone ADC, S/PDIF output, and 8 GPIOs, in a 48-pin LQFP package.
