Part Audit Review

The symbol exposes six terminals (three grounds plus IF, RF, and LO). I’m now checking metadata and the physical land pattern against the manufacturer drawing.
The footprint source is a six-pad Mini-Circuits-style case with 2.54 mm pitch and a 7.87 × 5.59 mm body outline. I’m validating the exact case drawing and electrical limits now.

Part Audit Report Scope and source
Audited the published Flux part project for Mini-Circuits ADE-35+ against the official manufacturer datasheet:
Existing part information Key datasheet specifications Pin and symbol cross-check
The symbol has all six terminals and the pin numbering/function mapping exactly matches the datasheet. Signal placement is also sensible: IF and ground pins on the left, RF/LO and ground on the right.

Audit complete. The official Mini-Circuits datasheet URL was already correctly set, and the MPN, six-pin mapping, CD542 package, and copper land pattern match the datasheet.
Flagged issues: terminal pin types/descriptions are missing, the CD542 package property is not explicit, and the imported courtyard may be rendered as silkscreen. Full details are in the Part Audit Report.

Symbol metadata issues
  • All six terminal Pin Type properties are Unspecified. RF, LO, and IF should preferably be Signal or Passive; pins 1, 2, and 5 should be Ground.
  • The terminals have no populated Pin Description property. Descriptions should identify pins 1/2/5 as package/RF ground, pin 3 as IF port, pin 4 as RF port, and pin 6 as LO drive port.
  • Ground terminal designators (GROUND_1, etc.) are internally understandable but differ from the datasheet's single function name GROUND; this is not an electrical error.
Footprint cross-check
The imported footprint source is named ADE35.kicad_mod, describes ADE-35+-2, and contains six rectangular SMD pads.

Pad numbering follows the package convention and binds correctly to the symbol functions: pins 1–3 on one side and pins 4–6 returning on the opposite side.
Footprint issues / cautions
  • The imported layout tree appears to combine the courtyard rectangle with the Silk Shapes asset. The source KiCad footprint correctly declares that rectangle on F.CrtYd, but the Flux-rendered layer assignment should be visually checked to ensure the 9.87 × 9.62 mm courtyard is not printed on silkscreen.
  • The footprint has no explicit exposed thermal pad or plated holes, matching the datasheet.
  • The source footprint geometry matches the Mini-Circuits suggested PL-051 land pattern. No copper-pad mismatch was found.
Overall result
The part is electrically and mechanically usable: MPN, manufacturer, pin count, pin mapping, package identity, and copper land pattern agree with the official datasheet. The main deficiencies are incomplete terminal metadata (Pin Type and Pin Description) and the possible courtyard-to-silkscreen import/rendering issue. Adding an explicit Package or Case Code = CD542 property would also make the metadata more complete.
