Part Audit Review

I’ll audit the part metadata, locate the official manufacturer datasheet if needed, update the Datasheet property, then verify the symbol, footprint, and pin descriptions against it.
I’m reading the current metadata and exact pad/symbol definitions first, then I’ll compare them to the manufacturer drawing.

Audit complete. The MPN, 2-pin count, WS-TASV variant, ratings, and footprint land pattern match the official Würth datasheet; the existing Datasheet URL was valid, so no update was required.
Main issues: the schematic symbol is malformed/non-standard, both pins have unspecified electrical types and no descriptions, and the package/case property is missing. Full findings: Part Audit Report.

Schematic symbol review
Correct
  • Two terminals are present and numbered 1 and 2.
  • Terminal names COM and NO describe the normally-open function logically.
Mismatches / quality issues
  • The rendered symbol does not depict a tactile switch or SPST-NO contact. It renders as a large blank rectangle with placeholder-style text, so the electrical function is not visually recognizable.
  • Both terminals are placed on the same side of the symbol rather than on opposite sides of a conventional switch contact graphic.
  • Both terminal Pin Type values are Unspecified; they should normally be Passive for a mechanical switch.
  • Pin Description is missing for both pins. Suggested descriptions: pin 1 — “Switch contact terminal 1”; pin 2 — “Switch contact terminal 2”. The datasheet only numbers the contacts 1 and 2 and does not assign a polarized COM/NO direction; either terminal can serve as either side of the contact.
  • Because the device is a non-polarized two-terminal normally-open contact, labeling one physical terminal COM and the other NO is electrically usable but more specific than the manufacturer’s documentation. Neutral names such as 1 / 2 or A / B would match the datasheet more literally.
Footprint review
Correct
The imported footprint matches the recommended land pattern:
  • Two rectangular SMD pads
  • Pad source dimensions: 1.5 × 2.0 mm, rotated 90°
  • Pad centers: x = −2.7 mm and +2.7 mm
  • Effective overall copper span: 7.4 mm
  • Effective inner pad gap: 3.4 mm
  • Effective pad transverse dimension: 1.5 mm
  • Fabrication body outline: 6.0 × 3.5 mm
  • Pin/pad mapping is 1-to-1: terminal 1 → pad 1; terminal 2 → pad 2
These values agree with the official Würth recommended land pattern dimensions of 7.4 mm overall, 3.4 mm inner gap, and 1.5 mm pad width.
Footprint observations
  • No dimensional or pad-mapping mismatch was found.
  • The courtyard is asymmetrical around the body. This does not alter solderability, but it is unusual and should be visually reviewed if courtyard-based placement clearance is important.
  • The footprint includes a pin-1 marker, although this switch is electrically non-polarized. The marker is harmless but not functionally necessary.
Overall verdict
The MPN, manufacturer, physical variant, pin count, description, key ratings, and PCB land pattern are consistent with the official datasheet. The footprint appears manufacturable and dimensionally correct. The main defect is the schematic symbol presentation and terminal metadata: the symbol graphic is malformed/non-standard, pin types are unspecified, and pin descriptions are absent. The package/case metadata is also missing.
