The symbol uses two terminals but does not currently expose diode polarity in terminal metadata. If the graphic itself shows the cathode bar on the left, then pin 1 on the left is consistent with the footprint. If the graphic lacks a visible cathode bar or has it on the opposite side, that is a polarity mismatch.

The footprint appears mechanically aligned to the attached datasheet body dimensions and lead diameter. Pad 1 is rectangular and on the cathode-marked side, which is consistent with common diode footprint convention and the datasheet cathode-band marking.
Mismatches / Risks Flagged
  1. Missing pin descriptions: Pin 1 and Pin 2 do not explicitly identify Cathode/Anode.
  2. Pin Type is Unspecified: Both diode pins should be Passive for ERC clarity.
  3. Polarity depends on artwork convention: The footprint strongly implies pad 1 = cathode, but the schematic terminal metadata does not say this. Recommended mapping: Pin 1 = Cathode/K, Pin 2 = Anode/A.
  4. High-voltage clearance risk: The part is rated 20 kV, but the footprint courtyard and 32.4 mm pad spacing should not be interpreted as sufficient PCB creepage/clearance for every 20 kV design. Real use may require larger spacing, slots, potting/oil, conformal coating, corona control, and application-specific safety rules.
  5. Reverse-current unit ambiguity: OCR output around the reverse current table is inconsistent. The numeric values are likely microamps, but the original PDF image should be manually checked before encoding leakage-current properties.
  6. Alternate public datasheets differ: Public mirrors/alternate sources found during search show larger package outlines and some differing specs. The current footprint matches the attached Datasheet URL, not every public 2CL2FM reference.
  • Set terminal/pin metadata:
    • Pin 1: Pin Description = Cathode (K), cathode-band side; Pin Type = Passive.
