I’ll inspect the part metadata, find and attach the official datasheet if needed, then compare the symbol/footprint/pins against the datasheet and report any mismatches.
I found the existing Datasheet URL pointed to an unrelated TE heat-shrink tubing PDF, so I updated it to the official TE customer drawing for 2438987-1. I’m now verifying pins and footprint geometry against that drawing.
Major footprint mismatches flagged: 2.50 mm row spacing vs 3.00 mm datasheet requirement, shell holes shifted 0.50 mm relative to signal datum, and round shell holes instead of specified obround slots.
Symbol pinout matches pins 1–9, but pin descriptions and electrical pin types are missing.
Suggested next steps:
Correct the footprint geometry to the TE drawing.
Add pin descriptions/types for all 13 terminals.
Re-check the footprint against the STEP model after edits.
