Completed the datasheet-backed review and saved the detailed findings in 1888811-1 Part Review. The Datasheet URL was already set, so I did not change it.
Open items:
Critical footprint issue flagged: MH1–MH6 appear as circular through-holes, but the TE drawing calls for obround/full-radius shield/mount slots.
Symbol needs cleanup: HDMI pin descriptions/types are missing, and P/Q port mapping is ambiguous.
I also filed a part-quality report internally for the footprint/symbol issues.
Suggested next steps:
Correct MH1–MH6 to TE-specified obround plated slots.
Add HDMI pin descriptions/types for P1–P19 and Q1–Q19.
Clarify the pitch wording: TE lists 1 mm centerline; PCB tails use staggered 1.50 mm same-row pitch / 0.75 mm offset.
please fix this issue, The 1888811-1 part appears to have a critical footprint issue: TE customer drawing calls for six obround/full-radius shield or mount slot features, but the Flux/KiCad footprint has MH1-MH6 as large circular through-hole pads.
I’ll replace MH1–MH6 with the exact plated obround slot geometries and orientations from the TE customer drawing, then verify pad dimensions, locations, and connectivity.
The drawing geometry is resolved: all six slots are vertical, 0.90 mm wide with 1.55 mm-wide lands; MH1/MH2/MH5/MH6 use 2.70 mm holes in 3.35 mm lands, while MH3/MH4 use 2.10 mm holes in 2.75 mm lands. I’m applying those project-level footprint overrides now.
