Capacitor Part Audit

Audit complete. The existing datasheet field was already populated (http://datasheets.avx.com/X7RDielectric.pdf), so it was not overwritten; the current official Kyocera AVX datasheet is https://datasheets.kyocera-avx.com/KGM_X7R.pdf.
  • Key specs: 1 µF, 100 VDC, ±10%, X7R, −55°C to +125°C, 1210/3225, 3.30 × 2.50 mm, 2.80 mm maximum height, 2 passive terminals.
  • Missing structured metadata: capacitance, voltage rating, tolerance, dielectric, operating temperature, machine datasheet URL, and structured distributor URLs.
  • Symbol: terminal numbering and passive types are correct, but pin descriptions are absent and the artwork appears malformed rather than a standard capacitor symbol.
  • Footprint: nominal body size is correct, but the inner pad gap is 1.76 mm versus the recommended 2.10–2.50 mm; pad length is 2.82 mm versus 2.80 mm maximum. Flux’s computed geometry also appears 1000× too small despite correct dimensions in the source footprint.
  • I filed an internal part-quality report covering the symbol and footprint/unit issues.

check and correct if necessary according to the datasheet
I’ll re-check the reported symbol and land pattern against the official Kyocera AVX dimensions, correct any confirmed issues, and verify the resulting part geometry.
The initial inspection call needed an explicit page cursor; I’ve corrected that and am continuing the audit.
The confirmed manufacturing issue was a 1000× footprint-unit error; both copper pads are now restored to their intended millimeter geometry, and the two passive terminals are documented.
Corrected the confirmed 1000× footprint scaling defect: pads now resolve to 1.18 × 2.82 mm at X = ±1.47 mm. Terminal descriptions and ordering were also corrected for the non-polarized, two-terminal MLCC.
  • Datasheet confirms 1 µF, ±10%, 100 V, X7R, 1210, body 3.30 ±0.40 × 2.50 ±0.30 mm.
  • The datasheet does not provide a recommended PCB land pattern, so the established CAPC3325X279N pad geometry was retained rather than replaced speculatively.
  • The earlier reported 2.80 mm component height was incorrect; the ordering code indicates approximately 1.02 mm maximum height, though that specific extraction was not fully machine-verified.
