Part Datasheet Review

The part already has an Amphenol datasheet URL set, so I’m using that as the source of truth and moving into the symbol/footprint cross-check.

Review complete. The official Amphenol datasheet URL was already set, so no property update was needed; identity, 400 contacts, row naming, and main contact pad geometry match the datasheet.
I flagged likely issues with the mounting/NPTH hole placement and missing/unspecified pin descriptions/types, and filed an internal part-quality report. Full details are in Part Datasheet Review: 10163479-14340T1LF.
Suggested next steps:
  1. Visually confirm the NPTH coordinates from the Amphenol PDF.
  2. Correct the mounting-hole footprint if confirmed.
  3. Populate terminal pin descriptions and set connector-appropriate pin types.

Schematic Symbol Cross-Check
Matches
  • The schematic contains 400 terminal components.
  • Terminal naming covers A1-A100, B1-B100, C1-C100, and D1-D100, matching the four-row 400-position datasheet scheme.
  • Pin Number properties match the terminal designators.
  • No schematic nets are present, which is normal for a connector part project.
Mismatches / Quality Issues
  • Datasheet labels show examples as A01, A100, D01, D100. Flux uses A1/D1 without leading zero. This is not electrically wrong, but exact datasheet label formatting is not preserved for 1-9.
  • Pin Description is absent on the terminals. For connector usability, each terminal should ideally have a description equal to the positional name, e.g. A1 or A01.
  • Pin Type is Unspecified on inspected terminals. Connector contacts should ideally use a connector-appropriate passive/bidirectional type for clearer ERC behavior.
Footprint Cross-Check
Contact Pad Array
The 400 contact pads appear consistent with the datasheet when interpreting the layout tool's small numeric values as internal meter-style values equivalent to physical millimeters:

Mounting / NPTH Pads
The footprint has two additional circular pads, matching the expected count for two mounting/locating holes, and the diameter matches Ø0.975 mm. Positioning is not fully aligned with the datasheet extraction:

Mount hole diameter0.975 mmØ0.975 ±0.050 mmMatch
Mount hole X spacingAppears ±33.56 mm, total 67.12 mmExtraction indicates 68.62 mm reference / possible center spacingNeeds visual confirmation; likely mismatch if 68.62 mm is hole center spacing
Mount hole YOne at -1.30 mm, one at 0.00 mmExtraction indicates 1.30 mm vertical coordinate from centerlineLikely mismatch; Y=0 hole is suspicious
The strongest flagged issue is the mounting/NPTH placement, especially one mounting hole at Y=0.00 mm. Because the drawing OCR is ambiguous about whether 68.62 mm is outline length or mount-hole center spacing, the X-coordinate should be visually confirmed from the PDF before correction.
Overall Verdict
  • Identity, datasheet URL, 400-position schematic count, and contact pad field geometry are consistent with the official Amphenol drawing.
  • The part should not be considered fully verified until the two mounting/NPTH hole coordinates are visually confirmed and corrected if needed.
  • Schematic terminal descriptions and pin types should be improved for usability, though they do not invalidate the contact geometry.
  1. Visually verify the two mounting/NPTH center coordinates from the Amphenol PDF drawing.
  2. Correct the mounting/NPTH pad Y coordinate if the second hole should also be offset by 1.30 mm from the centerline.
  3. Confirm whether mount-hole X centers should be ±34.31 mm or ±33.56 mm.
  4. Add terminal pin descriptions matching positional names.
  5. Change terminal Pin Type from Unspecified to a connector-appropriate passive/bidirectional type if supported by the library workflow.
An internal part-quality report was filed for the likely mounting-hole placement issue.
