Para poner en funcionamiento el U2 de forma minimalista (sin el kit de desarrollo) es necesario lo siguiente:
  1. Fuente de alimentación estable a 3.3 V
    • Proveer una fuente regulada de 3.3 V con capacidad suficiente para el consumo del módulo.
    • Se recomienda incluir capacitores de desacoplo (por ejemplo, un capacitor de 0.1 µF y/o uno adicional de 10 µF entre 3.3 V y Ground).
  2. Pulsador de Reset (enable)
    • El pin EN del ESP32 debe estar conectado a 3.3 V a través de un resistor de pull-up (por ejemplo, 10 kΩ).
    • Se debe incluir un pulsador que, al ser accionado, conecte EN a GND para reiniciar el chip.
  3. Pulsador para modo Boot (programación)
    • Para activar el modo de carga (flash mode), es necesario manipular el pin IO0:
      • Conectar IO0 a 3.3 V mediante un resistor de pull-up (por ejemplo, 10 kΩ).
      • Incluir un pulsador que, al presionarlo, lleve IO0 a GND de forma momentánea, permitiendo entrar en modo boot/actualización.
  4. Conexiones generales y puesta a tierra
    • Asegurarse de que los pines de GND estén correctamente conectados entre sí utilizando el componente Ground.
    • Se recomienda revisar el datasheet del ESP32-WROOM-32 para confirmar las recomendaciones detalladas de conexión y el uso correcto de los pulsadores y resistencias.
Con estos elementos, se consigue lo mínimo para que el módulo funcione de forma independiente, permitiendo además resetear el sistema y acceder al modo de programación mediante los pulsadores correspondientes.
