Implemented the approved changes and updated Part Datasheet Audit.
Open items:
  • ERC delta: 576 → 551 after Batch A support passives, then 551 → 496 after Batch B.
  • Spot-checks: LT8610AB RT = 41.2 kΩ → ~1.002 MHz; TPS54540 FB = 1.05 MΩ / 200 kΩ → 5.000 V; TPS259827 RILIM = 211 Ω → ~7.03 A.
  • U18/U12/U14/U16/U17 support passives are not wired yet because those refs still need exact/package-correct usable parts.
Suggested next steps:
  1. Proceed to Batch C: SDMMC1 → eMMC.
  2. Import/create exact missing power parts.
  3. Clean up tool-created net portal clutter later.
I read the attachment and extracted the new instructions: change TPS54540 FB divider to 10.5 kΩ / 2.00 kΩ, change TPS259827 RILIM to 210 Ω → ~7.06 A, create/import the missing power parts, wire their support passives, and proceed with Batch C eMMC wiring.
Open items:
  • I’m blocked now because there are no available ACUs.
  • The value table has not yet been updated with the new corrections.
  • Missing parts still need create/import: U18, U12, U14, U16, U17.
  • Batch C SDMMC1→eMMC has not been wired yet.
  • ERC delta after Batch C still needs to be run.
Suggested next steps when ACUs are available:
  1. Update the support table corrections.
  2. Create/import missing power parts with “generated — verify pin map against DS” flags.
  3. Wire support passives and Batch C.
  4. Run ERC and report the delta.

Part Datasheet Audit

Scope
Reviewed all 38 original schematic components for metadata, datasheet availability, symbol completeness, footprint plausibility, and pin-description quality. User attachments supplied the net map, exact/FAMILY MPN list, FAMILY-row resolutions, and final orderable selections for U13 and J9.
Current Status After ACU Resume
  • Package-correct library-backed parts were added for: U1, U2, U3, U7, U8, U10, U11, U13, U15, U31, U32, LED1, J2, J3, J4, J5, J6, J7, J8, J10, J11, J12, and J13.
  • The old placeholder instances did not delete cleanly because several imported placeholders have blank/hidden designators even though their designator is embedded in the part name. The schematic now shows 61 components rather than the intended 38.
  • All intended nets still show 0 schematic connections. Therefore the full mismatch against the net map is: every intended pin-to-net assignment is currently missing until rewiring is performed.
  • ERC/check run at 2026-07-04T21:52:56Z reports 585 open/warning checks, dominated by floating pins on both package-correct replacements and leftover placeholders.
  • J14 geometry is now resolved and implemented on the PCB: three bottom-side gold pads, order V+ | SENSE | GND viewed from bottom with battery/XT60 edge west, 10×15 mm each, 20 mm pitch, centered at X=0/Y=+45 mm. R40=10 kΩ and D1=SMBJ16A-TR were added for CHG_SENSE/TVS support.
  • Important cleanup note: the hidden/placeholder instances still carry many net memberships. Do not delete them blindly without first transferring their nets to the package-correct replacement instances.
  • J14_CHARGE_PADS custom component was created and added as J14. Net bindings are now: J14.VPOS→VBAT_RAW, J14.SENSE→CHG_SENSE, J14.GND→GND. Old Pogo_J14 had no remaining net membership to transfer, but it could not be deleted because the delete tool accepted the request without removing the blank-designator component.
  • J14 copper duplicate check completed: before cleanup there were two pad sets at the specified Bottom coordinates (one J14-owned footprint set plus one standalone set). The standalone pads were deleted; read-back now shows exactly one J14-owned set of three Bottom rectangular pads at (-20,45), (0,45), (+20,45), each 10×15 mm.
  • Batch A power-tree wiring was started on usable designators: U13, U10, U11, U15, U8, J14, R40, and D1. Missing exact/blank-designator power parts remain unresolved and were not force-wired.

J14 Implemented Geometry
User-provided datum:
  • Board center is origin.
  • Pad row centered at X=0, Y=+45 mm toward the LED/south edge, clear of bottom-side J9.
  • Bottom view, battery/XT60 edge = west: pad order is V+ | SENSE | GND.
  • Pad size is 10×15 mm each, with long axis perpendicular to row.
  • Pitch is 20 mm center-to-center, so V+ to GND span is 40 mm.
  • Frame magnet pockets use opposite polarities for anti-reverse keying.
Implemented PCB layout nodes:
  • J14_VPOS_Gold_Pad at (-20 mm, +45 mm), Bottom, 10×15 mm.
  • J14_SENSE_Gold_Pad at (0 mm, +45 mm), Bottom, 10×15 mm.
  • J14_GND_Gold_Pad at (+20 mm, +45 mm), Bottom, 10×15 mm.
  • Bottom silk label: J14: V+ SENSE GND.
Electrical support added:
  • R40: 10 kΩ 0402 generic resistor, CHG_SENSE to VBAT_RAW.
  • D1: SMBJ16A-TR TVS, VBAT_RAW to GND at the charge-pad domain.
J14 schematic status:
  • J14_CHARGE_PADS exists with pins VPOS, SENSE, GND.
  • J14.VPOS is connected to VBAT_RAW with R40:P2 and D1:K.
  • J14.SENSE is connected to CHG_SENSE with R40:P1.
  • J14.GND is connected to GND with D1:A.
  • Old Pogo_J14 still remains as a blank-designator placeholder. Delete attempts using Pogo_J14, Pogo_J14::136a1d39, and full UID 136a1d39-30be-4445-a2cc-bf7b7e21412d reported success but did not remove it; internal feedback was submitted.
  • Additional delete retry after user request still failed to remove old Pogo_J14. It remains electrically inert with zero net membership. J14 keyword ERC still reports the two Pogo_J14 floating pins plus its missing-footprint warning; J14_CHARGE_PADS itself is net-bound.
Remaining J14 caveat: standalone physical pads and the custom J14 schematic part are both present, but the PCB pad nodes are not yet guaranteed to be the generated footprint pads of J14_CHARGE_PADS. Verify/bind footprint geometry before manufacturing output.
Updated J14 footprint status: the duplicate standalone pad nodes were deleted after the generated J14 footprint pads were forced to the required Bottom coordinates and geometry. The remaining manufacturing caveat is only the inert Pogo_J14 ghost component.
Batch A ERC Delta
Baseline before Batch A: 585 open/warning checks.
After Batch A wiring: 576 open/warning checks.
Delta: 9 checks resolved, no new top-level increase. Remaining warnings are dominated by floating pins from unrewired package-correct parts and blank-designator placeholders. Pogo_J14 still contributes 2 floating-pin warnings and 1 missing-footprint error despite having no net membership.
Batch A connections applied:
  • U13 IN pins → VBAT_PROT; U13 OUT pins → VBAT_SW; U13 GND pins → GND; U13 EN/UVLO → LATCH_OUT.
  • U10 VIN pins → VBAT_SW; U10 VOUT/BIAS → P3V3; U10 EN/UV and U11 PG → PG_5V; U10 GND/EP → GND; U10 NC marked no-connect.
  • U11 VIN pins and EN/UV → VBAT_SW; U11 VOUT/BIAS → P5V; U11 GND pins → GND; U11 NC marked no-connect.
  • U15 IN/EN → VBAT_PROT; U15 OUT → P3V3_AON; U15 GND → GND.
  • U8 VS → P3V3; U8 GND → GND; U8 SCL/SDA → I2C2_SCL/I2C2_SDA; U8 VBUS → VBAT_RAW; U8 A0/A1/ALERT marked no-connect pending address/alert decision.
Batch A Support Passive + Batch B Update
User approved the support-passive table with these changes: TPS54540 external SS capacitor removed, TPS54540 UVLO = 8.5 V on / 7.5 V off, TPS259827 ITIMER resized to 4.7 nF for ~2.21 ms blanking, TPS3890 corrected to TPS389001DSER/DSET adjustable open-drain, and TPS70933 COUT = 2.2 µF.
Batch A support passives wired for usable package-correct refs U10, U11, U13, U15, and U8. U18, U12, U14, U16, and U17 still need exact/package-correct parts or usable designators before their support passives can be safely wired.
Spot-check rows requested by user:
  • LT8610AB RT: datasheet equation RT(kΩ)=46.5/fSW(MHz)-5.2; target 1.0 MHz → raw 41.3 kΩ; chosen 41.2 kΩ E96; actual fSW ≈ 1.002 MHz.
  • TPS54540 FB: datasheet equation VOUT=0.8×(1+RHS/RLS); target 5.0 V with RLS=200 kΩ → raw RHS=1.05 MΩ; chosen 1.05 MΩ / 200 kΩ; actual VOUT=5.000 V nominal. Not wired yet because U18 exact/package-correct component is not available/usable.
  • TPS259827 RILIM: datasheet equation RILIM(Ω)=1460/(IILIM(A)-0.11); target 7.0 A → raw 211.9 Ω; chosen 211 Ω E96; actual ILIM≈7.03 A.
ERC deltas:
  • After Batch A core wiring: 576 open/warning checks.
  • After Batch A support passives: 551 open/warning checks (25 resolved).
  • After Batch B SPI/IMU/FRAM wiring: 496 open/warning checks (55 more resolved).
Batch B wiring completed on package-correct refs:
  • SPI1: U1 PA5/PA6/PD7 ↔ U2 AP_SCL/AP_SCLK, AP_SDO/AP_AD0, AP_SDA/AP_SDIO/AP_SDI; U1 PC15-OSC32_OUT ↔ U2 AP_CS; U2 VDD/VDDIO to P3V3, GND to GND; reserved/unused pins marked NC.
  • SPI4: U1 PE12/PE13/PE14 ↔ U3 SCL/SCK, SDO1+SDO2, SDA/SDI; U1 PE11 ↔ U3 CSB1; U1 PE15 ↔ U3 CSB2; U3 VDD/VDDIO to P3V3, GNDA/GNDIO to GND; interrupts/PS/NC marked NC.
  • SPI2: U1 PB13/PB14/PB15 ↔ U7 SCK/SO/SI; U1 PB12 ↔ U7 ~CS; U7 VDD/~WP/~HOLD to P3V3, VSS to GND.
Known caveat: the connection tool created many net-portal/ground helper objects while wiring. These are logical labels produced by the tool and should be normalized/cleaned later if they become visually noisy.
  1. Clean up leftover placeholder instances by a direct/UID-based delete path or revert/retry replacement if supported.
