Yes. I can access and read the project document “Credit Refund Request.” I’ve read its full contents. I can also summarize, review, or edit the document, but I cannot access the actual billing/refund ticket or approve credits.
The USB-C receptacle replaces the original Micro-USB connector and operates as a USB 2.0 device/sink port.
CC1 and CC2 each use an independent 5.1 kOhm Rd resistor to ground so a USB-C source enables VBUS in either plug orientation.
USB D+ and D- are joined across both USB-C orientations and continue to the existing USB data network, USB-A connector, and board interconnect.
USB VBUS is distributed through local 100 nF bypass and 220 uF bulk capacitance.
Stereo left and right audio pass through series inductors with shunt capacitors before reaching the 3-pin audio header and board interconnect.
Analog ground is tied to system ground through the original-style 0 ohm star link.
PCB Construction
The redesign uses a 100 x 40 mm, 2-layer PCB. Components remain on the top side. USB D+ and D- should stay short, coupled, and on one layer where possible, with an uninterrupted bottom-side ground reference below the pair.
