  • MAX31865AAP+T

    MAX31865AAP+T

15Bit 3V~3.6V SPI SSOP-20-208mil Analog to Digital Converters (ADCs) ROHS The MAX31865 is an easy-to-use resistance-to-digital converter optimized for platinum resistance temperature detectors (RTDs). An external resistor sets the sensitivity for the RTD being used and a precision delta-sigma ADC converts the ratio of the RTD resistance to the reference resistance into digital form. The MAX31865’s inputs are protected against overvoltage faults as large as Q45V. Programmable detection of RTD and cable open and short conditions is included. ● Integration Lowers System Cost, Simplifies Design Efforts, and Reduces Design Cycle Time • Simple Conversion of Platinum RTD Resistance to Digital Value • Handles 100Ω to 1kΩ (at 0°C) Platinum RTDs (PT100 to PT1000) • Compatible with 2-, 3-, and 4-Wire Sensor Connections • SPI-Compatible Interface • 20-Pin TQFN and SSOP Packages ● High Accuracy Facilitates Meeting Error Budgets • 15-Bit ADC Resolution; Nominal Temperature Resolution 0.03125NC (Varies Due to RTD Nonlinearity) • Total Accuracy Over All Operating Conditions: 0.5NC (0.05% of Full Scale) max • Fully Differential VREF Inputs • 21ms (max) Conversion Time ● Integrated Fault Detection Increases System Reliability • ±45V Input Protection • Fault Detection (Open RTD Element, RTD Shorted to Out-of-Range Voltage, or Short Across RTD Element) #CommonPartsLibrary #IntegratedCircuit #PowerManagement

  • TMP117AIDRVR

    TMP117AIDRVR

High-Accuracy, Low-Power, Digital Temperature Sensor With SMBus- and I2C-Compatible Interface The TMP117 is a high-precision digital temperature sensor. It is designed to meet ASTM E1112 and ISO 80601 requirements for electronic patient thermometers. The TMP117 provides a 16-bit temperature result with a resolution of 0.0078 °C and an accuracy of up to ±0.1 °C across the temperature range of –20 °C to 50 °C with no calibration. The TMP117 has in interface that is I 2C- and SMBus™-compatible, programmable alert functionality, and the device can support up to four devices on a single bus. Integrated EEPROM is included for device programming with an additional 48-bits memory available for general use. The low power consumption of the TMP117 minimizes the impact of self-heating on measurement accuracy. The TMP117 operates from 1.7 V to 5.5 V and typically consumes 3.5 μA. For non-medical applications, the TMP117 can serve as a single chip digital alternative to a Platinum RTD. The TMP117 has an accuracy comparable to a Class AA RTD, while only using a fraction of the power of the power typically needed for a PT100 RTD. The TMP117 simplifies the design effort by removing many of the complexities of RTDs such as precision references, matched traces, complicated algorithms, and calibration. The TMP117 units are 100% tested on a production setup that is NIST traceable and verified with equipment that is calibrated to ISO/IEC 17025 accredited standards. • TMP117 high-accuracy temperature sensor – ±0.1 °C (maximum) from –20 °C to 50 °C – ±0.15 °C (maximum) from –40 °C to 70 °C – ±0.2 °C (maximum) from –40 °C to 100 °C – ±0.25 °C (maximum) from –55 °C to 125 °C – ±0.3 °C (maximum) from –55 °C to 150 °C • Operating temperature range: –55 °C to 150 °C • Low power consumption: – 3.5-μA, 1-Hz conversion cycle – 150-nA shutdown current • Supply range: – 1.7 V to 5.5 V from –55 °C to 70 °C – 1.8 V to 5.5 V from –55 °C to 150 °C • 16-bit resolution: 0.0078°C (1 LSB) • Programmable temperature alert limits • Selectable averaging • Digital offset for system correction • General-purpose EEPROM: 48 bits • NIST traceability • SMBus™, I2C interface compatibility • Medical grade: meets ASTM E1112 and ISO 80601-2-56 • RTDs replacement: PT100, PT500, PT1000 2 Applications • Electronic thermometers • Wireless environmental sensors • Thermostats • Automotive test equipment • Wearable fitness and activity monitors • Cold chain asset tracking • Gas meters and heat meters • Temperature transmitters #CommonPartsLibrary #Sensor
