I reviewed all 20 schematic nets and mapped the ones that should get special PCB routing treatment. That matches the recommended workflow: inspect nets with @schematic, inspect existing PCB rules with @layout, then assign routing classes/rules by net function
Recommended net classes

Table

Net groupNetsRecommended treatment
Power, high-current-ishVBUS_5V, SOLAR_IN, BATTERYWider traces, higher routing priority
Power railSYS_3V3Moderately wider traces, higher priority
GroundGNDLeave as global ground reference; keep all layers available
Low-speed data/controlI2C_SDA, I2C_SCL, USB_CC1, USB_CC2, ESP_EN, ESP_BOOT, BAT_ALERT, CHG_STAT, CHG_LED, PWR_LED, ISET_CFG, ILIM_CFG, TMR_CFGStandard narrow signal rules
Medium-speed debug/programmingUART_TX, UART_RXSlightly wider / higher-priority than low-speed
Rule values I prepared

Current status
  • I was able to identify the net UIDs and verify the board already has generic net rules plus built-in low/medium-speed rulesets available.
  • The actual rule write failed with a Flux storage-permission error.
  • I re-checked the PCB nets afterward, and no new net-specific rules were added.
So: analysis complete, changes not yet applied.
Also, one important note from the current layout state: the board is still extremely dense, so even with good net rules, routing will remain difficult until the layout is enlarged or some passives move to the bottom side.
If you want, I can next:
  • retry applying these net rules, or
  • first resize the board to reduce routing congestion, then apply the net rules.
Retry net rules
Resize board first
Tighten power nets
