Reviewed the current floating-pin ERC findings on U1, U2, and U3.
Verified datasheet guidance for the flagged pins: U2RESV19 is do-not-connect, RESV20 must connect to GND, AUX_CL and AUX_DA are optional auxiliary I2C pins, and U3 has multiple N.C. pins while its LED driver outputs are unused in this design.
Removed the broken prior no-connect marker components U9 through U26, which were themselves causing ERC errors.
Added explicit datasheet-based implementation notes on U1, U2, and U3 documenting which flagged pins are intentionally unused and how they should be handled.
Success criteria review
❌ All intentional unused pins on U1, U2, and U3 are not yet correctly marked with an ERC-accepted no-connect designation.
❌ The ERC report still shows 18 floating-pin errors on intentional unused MCU/sensor pins.
✅ Documentation notes now clearly state the intended datasheet-based handling on U1, U2, and U3.
Next steps
I removed the faulty marker components and documented the correct pin intent, but I could not complete ERC closure because the available schematic-editing tools in this environment do not expose a working operation for applying Flux's ERC-recognized no-connect designation directly onto existing pins. If that no-connect annotation becomes writable through the available tools, I can finish the remaining 18 floating-pin fixes and re-check ERC immediately.
Wirelessly connects nets on schematic. Used to organize schematics and separate functional blocks. To wirelessly connect net portals, give them same designator. #portal
