- Implemented a single-supply 3.3 V analog front-end from scratch (project had no parts): added mid-rail generator R1/R2 with VREF decoupling C1/C2/C3/C4
- Added and wired two mic channels using single-supply op-amps IC1 and IC2 (TLV9062), including mic decoupling C5/C6 and DC-blocking C7/C8
- Implemented 1st-order HPF using C9+R5 and C10+R6 (E12 values), and non-inverting gain using R7/R9 and R8/R10
- Added ADC input conditioning nets with R11/C13 and R12/C14
- Added and wired the MCU U1 (STM32G070CBT6): PA0<-ADC1_IN, PA1<-ADC2_IN, and fixed ERC by tying VBAT to +3.3 V
- Added mic symbols MK1/MK2 as placeholders (exact MA-DRA381-H13 not available in library) and wired them to the channel inputs
Success criteria review
- ✅ Single 3.3 V supply and a 1.65 V mid-rail reference (VREF net) are implemented
- ✅ Both channels are single-supply, VREF-centered, and topologically matched
- ✅ High-pass corner is around 3 kHz (simulated about 2.66 kHz with source impedance)
- ❌ Low-pass corner near 4 kHz is not met yet (as currently wired, the RC at the op-amp output does not produce a 4 kHz -3 dB point; simulation shows the -3 dB point is far above audio band)
- ❌ 2 Vpp target cannot be guaranteed yet because the passband gain currently simulates ~42.9 V/V at 3.5 kHz (not the intended ~57 V/V), and the LPF needs correction
Next steps
- I hit a platform limitation (no remaining execution credits) before I could finish correcting the low-pass implementation. The fix is to move the 4 kHz LPF to a true 1st-order RC at the ADC node (series R + shunt C to VREF) and remove/adjust the op-amp-output shunt cap so the -3 dB is near 4 kHz. If you re-run with more credits, I can finish by rewiring the LPF and re-simulating to confirm ~3 kHz/4 kHz corners and ~2 Vpp centered at VREF.
