Temperature and Humidity Sensor Node Design

I’ll create a 5 V Omron G2RL relay driver board using an MMBT2222A low-side transistor, add the required coil flyback protection and connectors, then run a schematic check.
I found a 5 V Omron G2RL variant in the library plus the requested MMBT2222A; I’m adding a 5 V/control input, relay contact terminal, base resistor, base pulldown, and flyback diode now.
Processing was stopped.
Here's a summary of what I was working on: Inspecting pin details
I'm thinking I need to infer the G2RL-1A pin connections. There are coil pins—maybe 1 and 8? And for the contacts, it seems like 3 could be COM, while maybe 4 is NO, but I’m uncertain about pin 6. I want to check the pin descriptions to be sure about all of this, so I’ll take a closer look. It’s important to get these details right to avoid any mistakes!

@copilot Ho bisogno di pilotare questo relè omron g2rl 5v. Aggiungi un transistor NPN BC817, una resistenza da 1kΩ per la base e un diodo di flyback (come l'1N4148) per proteggere il circuito dai picchi di tensione

Overview
This project is a 5 V relay driver PCB using an Omron G2RL relay and an MMBT2222A NPN transistor as a low-side coil switch.
Schematic Summary
  • J1: 5 V power input and GND.
  • J2: logic control input and GND.
  • Q1: MMBT2222A low-side NPN relay driver.
  • R1: 1.5 kΩ base resistor from CTRL_IN to Q1 base.
  • R2: 10 kΩ base pulldown to keep Q1 off when CTRL_IN is floating.
  • D1: 1N4148W flyback diode across relay coil; cathode to +5 V, anode to transistor collector / coil low side.
  • K1: Omron G2RL-1A-E2-CV-HA DC5 relay.
  • J3: relay contact output terminal. Pin 1 is RELAY_CONTACT_A, pin 2 is RELAY_CONTACT_B, pin 3 is intentionally unused.
Notes / Assumptions
The selected library relay is a 5 V G2RL-1A normally-open contact variant, not a changeover/SPDT version. The relay contact pins are paired into two external contact terminals for current sharing.
Layout Guidance
Keep the relay contact copper wide and isolated from the low-voltage control side. Place D1 close to the relay coil pins and Q1 close to the coil low-side pin. Use adequate clearance for the switched load voltage.
