I’m blocked from making project changes right now because the session has no remaining execution credits, so I could not add parts, wire the schematic, or run checks.
Requested design: an ESP8266 NodeMCU-based school safety sensor PCB. A suitable design would likely include:
ESP8266/NodeMCU controller with USB or regulated 5 V input
Power protection: fuse/polyfuse, reverse-polarity protection, TVS surge protection, 3.3 V regulation, decoupling capacitors
Safety sensors such as smoke/gas, temperature, flame, PIR motion, sound/noise, door/window reed switch, emergency button, and possibly air-quality/CO₂ depending on budget
Alarm outputs: buzzer, status LEDs, relay/MOSFET output for siren or beacon
Connectors for external sensors and power
Proper pull-ups, level shifting if needed, and isolation/protection for off-board wiring
What remains to be done when credits are available:
Wirelessly connects nets on schematic. Used to organize schematics and separate functional blocks. To wirelessly connect net portals, give them same designator. #portal
