Moving forward with BOM.

I’ve prepared a plan to apply your fixes: remove the on-board MCU path, finalize the 5 V DWIN UART, split the blower outputs, and clean up BOM/net names. Click Start to run it.
Summary of the execution plan
  • Remove obsolete parts: delete U6, J3, U7, U8; clean any orphan nets.
  • HMI UART: set J4 MPN to Molex 0022288040; wire J5:P1/P2 through R1/R2 and U9 to J4 RX/TX; tie J4 VCC to PS1+5V and GND to LV_GND.
  • Split blowers: ensure Q2:A2 -> J1:6 only; Q3:A2 -> J1:7 only; keep AC_NEUTRAL on J1:1/3 and AC_HOT_IN on J1:4 / J2:5; maintain F1 series to J2:4.
  • BOM cleanup: assign MPNs to remaining generics (R1–R4 Yageo RC0603FR-07680RL; R5–R8 Yageo RC0603FR-07360RL; keep R9–R12 CR1/2W-39Ω±5%-XT52; C5–C6 TDK C2012X5R1C106M125AC; C7–C8/C10–C11 Murata GRM188R71H104KA93D; update any other generics like R25 to a matching RC0603FR).
  • Net naming and checks: enforce +5V, LV_GND, IGNITER_TRIAC_OUT, BLOWER1_HOT_OUT, BLOWER2_HOT_OUT, AUGER_HOT_OUT; then run ERC/DRC and report results.
Once you click Start, I’ll execute these changes and post the ERC/DRC outcome.

Started implementing a plan

#Goal

- Integrate an off‑board Arduino Uno and complete the schematic/BOM fixes by removing obsolete components, finalizing the 5 V DWIN UART connections, splitting the blower outputs (J1:6 and J1:7) to the correct rails, cleaning up generic parts in the BOM with assigned MPNs, and tidying the critical net names.

#Implementation plan

1. Remove Obsolete Components

1. Delete components U6, J3, U7, and U8 from the schematic to eliminate the on-board MCU path.

2. Verify that orphan nets resulting from these deletions are correctly cleaned up.

2. Configure and Finalize UART Connection

1. Update the UART header J4: set its part number (MPN) to Molex 0022288040.

2. Wire the off‑board Arduino connection through R1 and R2 in series with U9 to route the UART signals from off‑board header J5 to J4.

3. Tie J4 VCC to +5V and J4 GND to LV_GND to complete the power and ground connections.

3. Split Blower Outputs

1. Route Q2:A2 exclusively to terminal J1:6 and Q3:A2 exclusively to terminal J1:7.

2. Confirm that the signal paths are only connected to the appropriate AC rails: connect AC_HOT_IN and AC_NEUTRAL to the correct blocks (J1:4/J1:1/3, etc.) as per design requirements.

3. Ensure the MOV series F1 continues routing to J2:4 for safety, if applicable.

4. Cleanup Generic Components in BOM

1. Assign specific MPNs to all remaining generic resistors and capacitors (including R1-R12, C5-C8, C10-C11, R25, etc.) using standard manufacturer parts (e.g., Yageo, Murata, TDK) available in the parts library.

2. Verify the footprints and component values remain consistent with their schematic symbols.

5. Rename Critical Nets and Validate Design

1. Rename nets to standard names: +5V, LV_GND, IGNITER_TRIAC_OUT, BLOWER1_HOT_OUT, BLOWER2_HOT_OUT, and AUGER_HOT_OUT.

2. Run the ERC and DRC checks in the Flux environment and verify that the circuit design meets all electrical and layout requirements without errors.

#Success criteria

- Obsolete components (U6, J3, U7, U8) are completely removed with no orphaned nets.

- The UART interface is finalized with J4 set to Molex 0022288040 and connected correctly via R1/R2 and U9, with proper VCC and GND routing.

- Blower outputs are split appropriately with Q2:A2 connected to J1:6 and Q3:A2 connected to J1:7, with the AC rails correctly configured.

- All generic BOM parts have assigned MPNs and consistent footprints/values.

- The net names are standardized, and all ERC/DRC checks pass without errors.
