MIC4427YM — SOIC-8, 1.27 mm pitch; easiest to assemble and probe.
MIC4427YMM-TR — MSOP-8, 0.65 mm pitch; more compact, supplied on tape and reel.
I recommend the MIC4427YM SOIC-8 unless PCB space is tight. Both retain the dual 1.5 A, non-inverting low-side gate-driver function of the DIP version, but require a different footprint.
I’ll inspect the current PCB for placement quality, unrouted connections, and rule violations, then run the necessary placement and/or routing passes and verify the applied result.

Evaluating PCB design needs
I see that I need to focus on executing substantial tasks related to PCB placement, routing, and design workflow—maybe even design rule checking (DRC). I should also take a closer look at the tools we have for PCB design to ensure they meet our needs. There's a bit to tackle here, so I'll keep this on my to-do list to follow up on all the necessary skills and tools.
