I completed the schematic for the Magic Notebook backing board: ESP32-S3-WROOM-1-N16R8, USB-C power/data with ESD and CC pull-downs, LiPo charging/protection, AP2112K 3.3 V regulation, TSC2007 touch controller, OPA2333 auxiliary buffer, FPC touch connector, buttons, LED, and all required passives. I also created project docs for the spec, power budget, firmware starter, bring-up plan, and regulatory notes, then ran validation; the selected checks came back clean.
Estimated time saved vs. manual EDA workflow: ~8–12 hours.
Open items:
The exact SGM4056 part was not available, so I used SGM40567; confirm the ordered variant is the intended 4.2 V LiPo charger before fabrication.
Layout is not done yet.
