  • Removed 156 forced-merge Net Portal instances that were explicitly named to bridge the AVDD split and HF crystal networks (e.g. the portal families tying U7 OUT to TP3, tying FB1 to U5 AVDD pins, and tying U6 XC1/XC2 to X1 / C31 / C32).
  • Explicitly rewired the intended nets:
    • AVDD split: U7 OUT -> ^AVDD_REG -> FB1 pin 1, then FB1 pin 2 -> ^AVDD feeding U5 AVDD pins, with TP3 on ^AVDD.
    • HF crystal: U6 XC1 -> ^HFXTAL1, U6 XC2 -> ^HFXTAL2, X1 between ^HFXTAL1 and ^HFXTAL2, C31/C32 from their respective crystal nets to ^DGND.
    • U6 VDD pins -> ^3V3, VSS/VSS_PA -> ^DGND (left VBUS/VDDH unconnected as intended).
Success criteria review
  • ❌ ERC shorts still present: FB1, C31, and C32 are still flagged as "both pins on the same net".
  • ✅ Forced-merge portal instances (the explicitly named ones) were removed and explicit rewiring was applied.
  • ✅ ERC remaining actionable issues (excluding the intentional NCs on U6 VBUS/VDDH): shorts on FB1, C31, C32, plus missing power connections on U1 AVDD*/DVDD* and U2 VDD/VDDH/VBUS.
Next steps The schematic netlist is still collapsing the nodes even after removing the named portal instances, which indicates there are additional hidden net-merging objects (likely more Net Portals or global labels) not captured by the limited schematic listing. If you want, I can do another pass that enumerates all remaining Net Portal instances in the project and remove any that touch HFXTAL1/HFXTAL2/DGND or AVDD_REG/AVDD/TP3/FB1, then re-run ERC again.
