Pin Type and Section Assignment

I’ll inspect the SIM7080G part pins, extract the official pin table/function groups from the datasheet, then update every pin’s type and section and verify the result.
The project’s attached datasheet only exposes the brochure text, not the full pin table, so I’m cross-checking against the SIMCom hardware design documentation before editing.
Done. I updated all 77 SIM7080G terminal pins so none remain Unspecified.
Summary:
  • Power pins: VBAT, VDD_EXT, USB_VBUS, SIM_VDD
  • Ground pins: all GND pads
  • Communication sections: UART, USB, SPI, I2C, PCM/I2S, SIM Card
  • Control/GPIO: PWRKEY, BOOT_CFG, STATUS, NETLIGHT, ANT_CONTROLx, GPIOx
  • Analog/RF: ADC, RF_ANT, GNSS_ANT
  • NC pads: marked Not Connected and placed in No Connect
I also verified the schematic after the update: every pin now has a defined Pin Type and a functional Section.
