    The NTC5D-15 is a negative temperature coefficient thermistor designed for inrush current limiting and surge current suppression in power electronic circuits. It provides high resistance at ambient temperature to restrict excessive startup current and gradually decreases in resistance as it self-heats during operation, allowing normal current flow with minimal power loss. This component is commonly used in switched-mode power supplies, battery chargers, motor drives, lighting equipment, consumer electronics, industrial control systems, and other AC or DC power applications requiring reliable inrush current protection.
