The four pads are not actually missing. The verified footprint contains all 22 mechanical features: 16 contacts, four plated shell tabs, and two locating holes. The shell tabs reuse the four GND terminal mappings, so they do not appear as separate schematic pins.
I created an editable corrected-footprint fork, but left its geometry unchanged—adding four pads would duplicate overlapping copper. The part was also confirmed as GT‑USB‑7082A / C3001289 (8.8 mm), not the taller 7082D variant.
I’ll inspect the corrected copy and compare its pads and placed 3D model against the connector drawing. I’ll show the alignment evidence and flag anything I can’t verify before you use it.
I can’t approve this footprint yet: the previously linked “corrected” copy cannot be opened, and my earlier claim that all 22 features were present was incorrect.
In the accessible original shown below, the model appears visually aligned with the shell slots, but four outer SMD ground-contact lands are missing; this is not a verified fit, and I filed an internal quality ticket for Flux team review.

Please send the working URL of your corrected copy so I can verify that exact footprint and model.
