Find or Create Switch 3D Model

I’ll search for an existing CSS-1310TB model, or create one from the manufacturer’s dimensions, then check its alignment with the footprint.

"CSS-1310TB 3D Model Installation" completed.
I created and attached a datasheet-based model; the vendor CAD download required a login. I’m checking its scale and footprint fit now; some undimensioned cosmetic details are simplified.

"CSS-1310TB Model Verification" completed.
Created and attached a datasheet-based 3D model, verified its scale, terminal alignment, and board seating, and left the existing footprint unchanged. It’s a simplified external model—not detailed vendor CAD—with sources and limitations recorded in Model Verification.

Package Model Verification
Result and scope
Completed: source search, authored nominal external-envelope package, upload and installation under the existing footprint, 3D readback, and preservation of existing footprint/pins/symbol/rules. The installed model is not vendor CAD and is not a detailed internal or manufacturing model. Exact manufacturer download was unavailable without member login; no public usable exact STEP/GLB was located. No changes were made to pads, holes, symbol, or existing placement rules.

Dimensions and representation
Nominal millimeters are used, not worst-case tolerance envelopes.

Table

FeatureNominal value and evidence
Body length / height12.5 / 2.0 mm; height tolerance ±0.1 mm.
Body depth3.0 ±0.15 mm.
Four electrical terminalsWidth 0.5 +0.1/−0.05 mm, outward projection 1.5 mm, X = −4, −2, +2, +4 mm.
Terminal thickness0.25 +0.1/−0.05 mm.
Actuator width/radius/travel1.5 ±0.1 mm / R0.2 / 2 mm between positions.
Actuator outward projection2.0 ±0.15 mm.
Actuator thickness and center heightUsed 0.6 mm and Z=1 mm, read visually from the original side/front drawing. Automated evidence validation did not verify the thickness interpretation; this remains a stated verification limitation, not an invented value.
Locating tabsWidth 0.65 ±0.05 mm, dimensioned span 10.9 ±0.05 mm, downward projection 0.6 mm.
Locating-tab depth0.2 +0.1/−0.05 mm.
Visual drawing interpretation: 10.9 mm is the outside tab span, giving centers ±5.125 mm; tab tips have C0.2 chamfers. The cover body rests at Z=0, tabs project to Z=−0.6, and terminal feet begin at Z=0. The center-position slider projects toward −Y; pin 1 is on −X,+Y. The body source origin is its XY center. Model node offset Y=−0.48 mm aligns tab center Y=−1.4 mm with footprint anchors at Y=−1.88 mm.
The cover is rendered with stainless-steel finish, the actuator with white polymer finish, and terminals with gold finish. The body is an external-envelope solid, not a claim about shell wall thickness. Undimensioned cover openings/seams/crimps, internal housing/contact mechanism, production printing, and exact gull-wing root bends are omitted. Terminals use their dimensioned flat-foot envelopes. These omissions avoid fabricating unavailable dimensions; this is suitable for nominal PCB visualization and coarse clearance checking, not detailed mating or manufacture.
Installed identifiers
  • Asset name: css-1310tb.build123d
  • Asset UID: 446eafad-e4ee-424a-a4fe-cd7d3c64c41d
  • Model node: bb39cab5-4b6c-4946-a4ed-b11b0d2a0f9b (Switch Package)
  • Parent footprint: 0fb11dac-fd2a-4e94-a45c-83afb3bc541e.defaultFootprint
  • Position (mm): (0, −0.48, 0); rotation (0,0,0); Top; Z-up; scale (1,1,1); physical materials true; edges off.
Verification evidence
  1. Upload conversion succeeded: eight solids, 54 faces, overall 12.5 × 6.5 × 2.6 mm, volume 77.6797 mm³. Body independently measured 12.5 × 3 × 2 mm; actuator 1.5 × 2 × 0.6 mm; each foot 0.5 × 1.5 × 0.25 mm; each tab 0.65 × 0.2 × 0.6 mm.
  2. Final read-only scene tree resolves the installed asset under the footprint and confirms unchanged footprint origin, top side, zero rotation, edgeDirection 3.14159 rad and edgePlacementOffset 2.5 mm; all six pads retain their initial positions and sizes.
  3. Electrical pads 1–4: centers X = −4, −2, +2, +4 mm, Y=+1.88 mm, size 1 × 2.5 mm. Model feet span Y=1.02…2.52 mm, fully inside pad Y=0.63…3.13 mm; each foot has 0.25 mm lateral pad margin. Foot bottoms are Z=0.
  4. Anchors 5/6: centers (±5.1,−1.88) mm, size 1.5 × 0.9 mm. Existing source specifies through-hole oval drills approximately 1.0 × 0.5 mm. Tabs center at (±5.125,−1.88) mm: 0.025 mm nominal X offset, inside those slots; no footprint modification needed. Computed tree omits drill details, so hole dimensions were checked against the actual existing source asset.
  5. Iso, top and front 3D readbacks inspected: correct millimeter scale, body over silk/pad field, four feet aligned to four pads, actuator on the opposite side, two locating tabs directed downward. Body/feet seat at Z=0; the −0.6 mm tab extension is intentional, not a floating-body correction. Scene evidence key: document_assets/css-1310tb-scene-6faf2ad6409351f274954ec09e05f40d.fluxscene.
  6. The package compiler's thin-feature/small-volume/unsupported-print findings are Info for a purchased component model, not FDM defects. Board DRC post-checks returned NOT CHECKED in this part project; no clean DRC claim is made.
Limitations
Warning: this is a simplified, dimension-grounded external-envelope representation rather than a fully detailed exact vendor model. Exact shell/root-bend details and the automated actuator-thickness evidence remain unresolved; an authenticated manufacturer STEP could replace it for detailed mechanical validation. This completes the assigned model-installation batch, not any overall board/manufacturing review.
