Polymeric PTC Resettable Fuse 6V 1 A Ih Surface Mount 0603 (1608 Metric), Concave
    polyfuse 1A 0603
The 0603L100SLYR is a surface-mount resettable fuse (PPTC – Polymeric Positive Temperature Coefficient) designed to provide overcurrent protection in low-voltage electronic circuits. When excessive current flows, the device increases its resistance sharply, limiting current and protecting downstream components. Once the fault condition is removed and power is cycled or reduced, the fuse resets automatically.
This component is widely used in compact electronic devices due to its small 0603 footprint, making it suitable for space-constrained PCB designs.
Key Features Resettable overcurrent protection device Compact 0603 surface-mount package Fast response to fault conditions Automatic reset after fault removal RoHS compliant and lead-free construction Low resistance in normal operation Stable performance over multiple trip cycles Electrical Characteristics Hold current: 1.0 A Trip current: approximately 2.0 A Maximum voltage rating: 6 V Maximum current rating: 40 A (short duration fault current) Initial resistance: low resistance typical for minimal voltage drop Resistance after trip: significantly increased to limit current Thermal Characteristics Operating temperature range: −40 °C to +85 °C Trip time dependent on current and ambient temperature Self-heating mechanism triggers resistance increase Mechanical Characteristics Package type: 0603 (1608 metric) Mounting type: surface mount (SMD) Body material: polymer-based PTC Terminal finish: solderable metal electrodes compatible with reflow soldering Applications USB ports and power lines Battery-powered devices Consumer electronics Portable devices Embedded systems and IoT hardware Power supply protection circuits Compliance and Standards RoHS compliant Halogen-free (typical for series) Meets industry standards for resettable fuses
