Identifying Power Semiconductor

This looks like a TO-3P/TO-247-class power semiconductor mounted to a heatsink. For a JPG attachment like this, the useful first step is to inspect the visible package style and printed markings directly .
From the photo, the clearest marking I can make out is:
  • FJA 55N25
  • F13 G29
  • There also appears to be a small circular A mark
Most likely, this is a high-power transistor-class device such as a MOSFET or IGBT, but I can’t confirm the exact part type from this photo alone because the top device marking is too faint and the manufacturer logo isn’t fully readable.
If you want, I can help with either of these next:
  • identify the exact part number from a sharper photo of just the device face
  • find the datasheet/pinout for FJA55N25
  • figure out whether it’s an MOSFET, IGBT, or BJT from the circuit it came from
Find FJA55N25 datasheet
