- Re-validated the handheld-only schematic around J1, IC1, U1, U3, and CN1
- Confirmed the earlier dock-detect cleanup is present: IC1
ATTACH,GPIO, andA_B_SIDEare tied intoDOCK_DETECTwith U3PA0and R6, so the targeted floating-pin/undriven-net ERC items are now clean - Reapplied the required layout constraints so the layout minimums are 0.15 mm trace width and 0.2 mm keep out
- Audited the remaining PCB review state and confirmed the board still has blocking layout violations: 159 airwires, 109 overlapping-copper errors, and 60 floating-copper errors
- Verified the retained handheld dock connector CN1 is still present, but it still carries many reserved dock-only nets that are currently unrouted in the layout
Success criteria review
- ❌ All external dock circuitry and remnants are completely removed, with no related artifacts present
- ❌ Placement and routing around J1, IC1, U1, U3, and CN1 are not yet DRC-clean because the PCB still has active airwire and copper violations
- ❌ The design is not yet ready for final production review
Next steps
The remaining blockers are PCB-layout edits: footprints/traces/copper associated with the reserved dock nets on CN1 need to be removed or rerouted, and the overlapping/floating copper must be cleaned up in the layout editor or with Auto-Layout. After those physical layout changes are made, I can immediately re-run validation and finish the final review pass.
