  • Added 24 V DC power entry + protection: reverse-polarity PMOS + TVS + input caps using Q9, D10, R34, R35, C14, C15
  • Added 24 V -> 5 V buck stage + passives feeding the existing +5V_RELAY rail: U4, L1, D11, C16, C17, C18, C19
  • Added 5 V -> 3.3 V regulator stage and tied it into the existing 3.3 V distribution net (Net 1): U2, C20, C21, C22
  • Connected +5V_RELAY to all relay coil pins: RLY1, RLY2, RLY3, RLY4, RLY5, RLY6, RLY7, RLY8
Success criteria review
  • ✅ DC entry integrated with reverse polarity + TVS protection (VIN_24V -> VIN_PROT)
  • ✅ Buck stage output is wired onto the existing +5V_RELAY net
  • ✅ 3.3 V regulator output is wired onto the existing ESP32/PHY 3.3 V net (Net 1)
  • ❌ ERC still reports Missing Power on IC1 (4 errors). This appears to be a rule-classification issue because IC1 VDD pins are on Net 1 which is now driven by U2.
Next steps
  • I can fix the ERC by marking the 3.3 V net (Net 1) as a Power net (or renaming it to +3V3) and/or adjusting the power-pin types on IC1 and U2 so ERC recognizes the source. Tell me whether you want the 3.3 V rail named +3V3 (recommended) or keep Net 1.
