Started implementing a plan
#Goal
- Update the GBA RP2040 schematic by removing the duplicate GBA edge connector and remapping the remaining connector pins to the official GBA cartridge pinout. The changes must preserve existing net labels where possible, add any missing nets (e.g., GBA_CS2), and resolve all connectivity issues as confirmed by ERC.
#Implementation plan
1. **Remove Duplicate Connector and Select the Correct CN1**
1. Identify the duplicate GBA edge connector instances, specifically the 3126-10200T and the 91302-32-067RDM parts.
2. Choose the appropriate connector (based on provided reference and wiring) to keep, and remove the duplicate to prevent conflicts and duplicate designators.
2. **Remap Connector Pins to Match Official GBA Cartridge Pinout**
1. Create and utilize a pin remap table based on the official pinout reference:
- Pin 01: +3.3V
- Pin 02: CLOCK
- Pin 03: WRITE
- Pin 04: READ
- Pin 05: CHIP SELECT
- Pin 06-21: Data/Address bits 0-15
- Pin 22-29: Address bits 16-23
- Pin 30: CS2 (new net if missing)
- Pin 31: IRQ
- Pin 32: GND
2. Reassign each pin on the remaining CN1 connector to the appropriate net based on the official pinout while preserving existing net labels (e.g., GBA_A0..A15, GBA_D0..D7, GBA_RD/WR/CS/RST/CLK/IRQ).
3. **Reconnect Wires and Update Net Labels**
1. Physically reconnect wires in the schematic so that the CN1 pins are now connected to the correct nets.
2. Create any missing nets such as GBA_CS2 by connecting the appropriate CN1 pin to a net labeled GBA_CS2.
3. Clean up any orphaned labels or portals left by the removal or remapping process.
4. **Rerun ERC and Address Connectivity Issues**
1. Run ERC on the updated schematic.
2. Identify and resolve any unconnected, floating, or duplicate net issues that appear post-remapping.
3. Revalidate connectivity until ERC reports no errors.
#Success criteria
- The schematic only contains one GBA edge connector, with the duplicate removed.
- All CN1 pins are correctly mapped to the official GBA cartridge pinout, including creation of missing nets such as GBA_CS2.
- The ERC reports no connectivity errors post-update, ensuring complete and correct wiring.

@schematic, remove the duplicate with @rewrite_components, remap wiring with @rewrite_connections, then confirm with @review). Once tool credits are available again, I’ll execute your implementation plan end-to-end and verify ERC is clean.Ready.
