Based on knowledge base guidance for designing power circuits, you’ll want to include reverse-polarity protection and account for VOUT tolerance and line-regulation accuracy (e.g. ±1% → ±33 mV) when you add a new regulator stage.

- Are you simply wanting to add a 5 V power rail net (i.e. a 5 V power symbol and net label)?
- Or do you need a full 5 V regulation stage (e.g. a 5 V LDO or buck converter IC)? If so, what’s the expected load current on that 5 V rail?
