  • Updated project description to reference external manual override header with hashtags: #PANEL_SW #Debounce #Override #CamMicroswitch
  • Added debounce components:
    • R_SER: 100 Ω series resistor
    • R_PU: 10 kΩ pull-up resistor
    • C_DB: 100 nF capacitor
  • Added external header:
  • Made net connections:
    • Connected PANEL_SW:Pin_1 → R_SER:P1
    • Connected R_SER:P2 → U5:1CLK
    • Connected J1:+3.3 V → R_PU:P1 and R_PU:P2 → U5:1CLK
    • Connected C_DB:P1 → U5:1CLK and C_DB:P2 → GND
    • Connected PANEL_SW:Pin_2 → GND
    • Connected TP_CLK:1 → U5:1CLK
  • Removed on-board override switch:
    • Deleted SW1
    • Disconnected its pins from nets
  • Severed SW1 nets:
    • SW1:1 from +5VSB
    • SW1:2 from CAM_PWR
Outstanding
  • ERC/DRC checks and BOM review (cannot be run automatically)
Success criteria
  • ✅ External 2-pin PANEL_SW toggles U5 latch via debounced CLK input
  • ✅ On-board override button is removed
  • ✅ Cam dial microswitch routing (+5VSB→CAM_PWR) remains untouched
  • ⧗ ERC/DRC checks pending
Next step
Please run ERC and DRC checks manually to verify net integrity and pull-up behavior. Once they pass, we can proceed to schematic review and begin preparing the PCB layout (footprint review & stackup configuration).
