Functional Blocks
  • Power input: BT1 9V battery connector and SW1 SPST switch.
  • Timing: U1 NE555P with R1 = 47kΩ, R2 = 47kΩ, and C1 = 10µF.
  • Output: U1 OUT drives R3 = 680Ω and D1 red LED to GND.
  • Stability: C2 = 10nF on CONT and C3 = 100nF from VCC to GND.
