Below is the suggested update that adds a second TP4056 module, designated as [U3], with an integrated USB charge port, in addition to the existing TP4056 ([U2]). The wiring for the new module is as follows:
Components Added:
  1. Second TP4056 LiPo Charger with USB Charge Port:
    • Designation: U3
    • Function: Provides additional USB charging capability for the LiPo battery.
Wiring Instructions:
  • USB Charging Input for [U3]:
    • Wire the USB 5V (VBUS) from the USB port to the VCC/IN of [U3].
    • Connect the USB ground to the common Ground.
  • Battery Connection:
    • Tie the battery’s positive terminal in parallel to the BAT+ inputs of both [U2] and [U3].
    • Similarly, connect the battery negative terminal to the BAT- and the common ground for both modules.
  • Global Ground:
    • Ensure the ground pins of [U3] (including the USB ground, BAT-, and any other ground connections) are tied to the same [Ground] component as the rest of the design.
This update allows the LiPo battery to be charged either via the primary charging path ([U2]) or through the USB-enabled TP4056 ([U3]), providing added flexibility.
You can now click Apply changes to incorporate the [U3] TP4056 with the USB charge port and the associated wiring into your schematic.
