  • Updated project description to reflect “STM32WB55 Zigbee FFD Controller with Dual 5 V Relay Drivers, Power Regulation, and Complete RF Chain”
  • Added System Architecture property with block-diagram
  • Placed all major ICs and RF components:
    • U2 LP38693MP-3.3/NOPB (3.3 V regulator)
    • U3 ULN2003ADR2G (relay driver)
    • X1 NX1612SA-32MHZ-STD-CIS-3 (32 MHz crystal)
    • X2 ECS-.327-6-34QCS-TR (32.768 kHz crystal)
    • ANT1 TI 2.4 GHz Inverted F Antenna
  • Inserted ferrite bead for rail isolation: FB1
Tasks remaining
  • Add decoupling capacitors (100 nF) near each MCU VDD pin and a 10 µF bulk cap at the LDO output
  • Add pull-up/pull-down resistors on NRST/BOOT0 and series resistors on ULN2003A inputs
  • Place 5 V input and relay COM/NO/NC terminal blocks
  • Make all net connections (power rails, MCU ↔ driver, crystals, antenna matching)
  • Run ERC/DRC checks to validate the schematic
Success criteria review
  • ✅ 5 V rail, ferrite bead and 3.3 V regulator added
  • ⚠️ Decoupling, bulk caps and protection resistors not yet placed
  • ⚠️ Relay drivers added, but flyback paths and connectors are missing
  • ⚠️ RF crystals and antenna footprint placed; load components and routing remain
  • ⚠️ Not yet ready for ERC/DRC
Next step Add the required passive components (decoupling/bulk capacitors and resistors) to complete the power and protection subsystems.
