Part Metadata Audit and Update

The pins are already grouped. Can you place them into their respective sections based on their functions
Got it — I’ll keep the existing pin groups and assign the terminal Section property so the symbol is organized into functional sections without duplicating pins.
I assigned the existing grouped pins into functional Section values across all 72 terminals: Power, Ground, System Control, Clock, GPIO Port A/B/C/D/E, Debug/GPIO, and RTC/GPIO where appropriate.
Verification spot-checks passed:
  • VDD_1 → Section Power
  • VSS_1 → Section Ground
  • NRST → Section System Control
  • PH0-_OSC_IN → Section Clock
  • PA0 → Section GPIO Port A
  • PB3 → Section Debug / GPIO Port B
  • PC13 → Section RTC / GPIO Port C
  • PE10 → Section GPIO Port E
Review reports no open errors or warnings. Some Section values triggered non-blocking suggestions because they are more specific than Flux’s common presets, but the values were applied successfully.

Symbol and Footprint Cross-Check
Summary
  • Schematic symbol has 72 terminal entries.
  • Footprint/layout has 72 pad entries plus footprint containers/shapes/text.
  • Footprint pad labels match the schematic terminal designators.
  • Schematic terminal Pin Number values match the WLCSP72 ballout table extracted from the datasheet.
  • No nets are defined in the part project; this is expected for a standalone part project, not an application schematic.

Mismatches / Gaps to Fix
  1. Terminal pin types are all Unspecified.
This is the main symbol-quality issue. Power pins should be marked as Power In / Ground as appropriate, reset/boot/control pins should be Input, GPIOs should generally be Bi-Directional, analog-capable pins may need Bi-Directional or Passive depending library convention.
  2. Pin descriptions are missing.
Terminals only carry the designator and ball number. Datasheet-derived descriptions / alternate functions are not populated. At minimum, power/reset/boot/oscillator/SMPS pins should have explicit descriptions.
  3. Sanitized oscillator/boot names differ from datasheet spelling.
Current names such as PH3-_BOOT0, PH1-_OSC_OUT, PH0-_OSC_IN, PC15-_OSC32__OUT, and PC14-_OSC32_IN are functionally recognizable but include extra underscores compared with datasheet names. This is not an electrical mismatch, but it may reduce searchability and consistency.
  4. Package and pin count are not stored as explicit project properties.
The library search shows terminal_count = 72 and assets identify the WLCSP footprint, but explicit package metadata is not present in the visible property list. Recommended package property: WLCSP72 / B0TG, 0.40 mm pitch.
  5. Part-type-specific metadata appears wrong.
Library result reports logicFunction: AND and icType: Logic, which is inconsistent with this being a microcontroller. This should be corrected to Microcontroller / MCU-type metadata if editable.
  6. Datasheet extraction through the component datasheet search returned no matches.
The Datasheet URL is present and official, but the direct component datasheet search did not retrieve content. The PDF was successfully read by URL through the file reader. Consider re-indexing / refreshing the machine-readable datasheet association if available.
  7. Documentation review was failing before this report.
The only review warning/error found was missing project documentation. This audit document should resolve that project-documentation gap once review refreshes.
Recommendation
The schematic symbol and footprint appear to have the correct 72-ball WLCSP72 ball mapping. The highest-value cleanup is metadata quality: set terminal pin types, add datasheet-derived pin descriptions / alternate-function notes, correct the library-specific MCU classification, and add explicit package metadata for WLCSP72/B0TG.
