Part Review and Datasheet Update

I’ll update the 4 copper pads to a datasheet-based SK6812RGBW-WS/5050 land pattern, then re-inspect the footprint geometry.
I found the pads were still at microscopic geometry; I’m applying explicit millimeter rules for the four SK6812RGBW-WS pads now.
Footprint pad geometry has been corrected from microscopic defaults to a 4-pad SK6812RGBW-WS/5050 SMD pattern: VDD/DOUT on the left, DIN/VSS on the right, with 1.5 × 1.8 pad geometry and ±2.2 / ±1.6 placement.

  • The datasheet OCR exposed the pin table clearly, but not a detailed manufacturer land-pattern table; I used the standard SK6812RGBW/5050 pad arrangement consistent with the package outline and pin map.
Suggested next steps:
  1. Run a visual footprint/DRC review.
  2. Add pin descriptions/types to the symbol metadata.
  3. Add electrical properties like 3.5–5.5 V, 0.25 W, and 800 kbps data rate.
Run footprint DRC
Fix pin metadata
Add electrical specs
Verify land pattern
Export footprint check

5.5x5.0x1.6mm Top SMD Type 0.25 Watt Power integrated light source Intelligent control LED
SK6812RGBW-WS is an intelligent RGBW (Red, Green, Blue, Warm White) addressable LED that integrates both the LED package and control IC into a single 5050 SMD package. Each LED functions as an individually controllable pixel, supporting 32-bit color data transmission (8 bits per channel) through a single-wire serial interface. The WS variant features a warm white channel with a color temperature of approximately 2700–3000 K, making it ideal for decorative, ambient, architectural, and smart lighting applications where accurate warm white illumination is required. The device operates from a 5 V supply and supports cascading of numerous LEDs with built-in signal reshaping for reliable long-distance data transmission.
Key Features Integrated RGBW LED and control IC in a single 5050 SMD package Dedicated warm white (WS) channel, 2700–3000 K color temperature Individually addressable pixel control 32-bit color data (8-bit Red, Green, Blue, and White channels) Single-wire serial communication interface Built-in constant-current driver and PWM control Signal reshaping and automatic forwarding for long LED chains Typical data transmission rate of 800 kbps Operating voltage: 3.5 V to 5.5 V (5 V nominal) Wide operating temperature range: -40°C to +85°C High brightness, excellent color consistency, and long operational life Suitable for LED strips, pixel displays, decorative lighting, signage, and smart lighting systems
