Work done
  • Updated project description with new goals and hashtags
  • Updated System Architecture property with I2S mic and BMX160 IMU
  • Added Bosch BMX160 9-axis IMU as U3 and configured its properties
  • Confirmed and configured ICS-43434 I2S microphone (U2)
  • Marked USB-C connector (J1) as power-only sink
  • Added project property wiring_status = "deferred"
Tasks remaining
  • Remove the BMI270 part (designator U3) from the schematic to complete the IMU replacement
Success criteria review
  • ❌ BMI270 replaced with BMX160 9-axis IMU (still present)
  • ✅ I2S microphone (ICS-43434) correctly integrated
  • ✅ USB-C connector configured as power-only sink
  • ✅ BOM flags and designators updated for U2, U3 (BMX160), and J1
Next step Remove the BMI270 from the schematic to finalize the IMU swap, then proceed to the Connectivity stage of the workflow to assign nets and connectors.

I’ll swap in your chosen parts and add a U.FL antenna port, leaving wiring for later.
  • Remove existing IMU and mic, add LSM6DSL as U3 and SPH0645LM4H as U2.
  • Add a U.FL connector as J2 for the antenna.
  • Keep J1 as a power-only USB‑C receptacle; no data wiring yet.
Click Start on the plan bar to execute.
Plan
Goal
  • Update the NRF54L15-CAAA-R7 project by replacing the existing IMU and microphone components. Replace the current IMU(s) with an LSM6DSL, replace the current I2S microphone (ICS-43434) with an SPH0645LM4H, and include a new U.FL antenna port while ensuring the power-only USB-C connector remains unchanged.
Implementation plan
  1. Remove and Replace Components
    1. Remove the existing IMU (BMI270/BMX160) component from the schematic.
    2. Remove the existing ICS-43434 I2S microphone component.
    3. Add an LSM6DSL component (designated U3) from the parts library, setting its properties including MPN, package, and BOM flag accordingly.
    4. Add an SPH0645LM4H component (designated U2) for the new I2S microphone, setting its properties as required.
  2. Add Antenna Connectivity
    1. Add a new U.FL antenna connector (designated J2) from the parts library, ensuring its footprint and properties are set.
  3. Maintain Existing USB-C
    1. Ensure the existing USB-C connector (J1) remains in the design configured as a power-only port.
  4. Position Components
    1. Place the newly added LSM6DSL, SPH0645LM4H, and U.FL connectors in logical positions while deferring the wiring and net connections to a later phase.
Success criteria
  • The schematic reflects the replacement of the BMI270/BMX160 with the LSM6DSL and the ICS-43434 with the SPH0645LM4H.
  • A new U.FL antenna connector is added as specified while the USB-C connector remains configured for power-only use.
  • Components have correct properties (MPNs, packages, BOM flags) for production readiness and are positioned appropriately for subsequent wiring.
