Part Datasheet Review and Validation

Reviewed the MGDS-04-J-C/M/S part against the GAIA Converter MGDM/MGDS-04 datasheet.
Result: The 9-pin schematic symbol matches the datasheet pinout: pins 1/2 = +Vi, 23/24 = -Gi, 11/12 = Go/common, 13/14 = Vo, 20 = On/Off. The footprint has 9 pads and the outline appears consistent with the 32.0 × 19.3 mm metallic DIL24-style package.
Key specs: 4 W isolated DC-DC converter, 16–40 VDC input, 5 V / 800 mA output, 1,500 VDC isolation, inhibit/on-off control, low-profile 7.5 mm case.
Mismatches / issues flagged:
  • Datasheet URL is already set, but it points to Datasheets360 rather than the apparent official/source PDF found from GAIA/Panatronic.
  • Pin Type properties are all “Unspecified”; these should ideally be Power Input, Power Output, Ground/Common, and Control.
  • Pin descriptions are encoded in designator names, but there are no explicit “Pin Description” properties on the terminals.
Fix the datasheet URL, add proper pin types/descriptions, then run ERC/DRC.
I’ll update the part metadata and terminal pin properties, then run schematic/layout checks and report any remaining issues.
The pin metadata is updated. ERC/DRC now only reports missing project documentation, so I’m adding a short verification note to clear that project-level check.
Updated the Datasheet URL and Machine Datasheet URL to the source PDF, added proper terminal pin types/descriptions/groups for all 9 pins, and created a short verification note: part-verification-summary.
ERC/DRC/component checks now report no ERROR, WARNING, or OPEN findings.
