ESP32-C3 and HC-SR04 Setup

Check the datasheets for required ESP32 decoupling values.
The ESP32-WROOM-32U datasheet’s module-level application circuit shows 10 µF + 0.1 µF on the VDD33 / 3.3 V supply, plus an optional EN RC delay of 10 kΩ + 1 µF for reliable power-up/reset. Important correction: the bare ESP32-WROOM-32U module is powered from 3.0–3.6 V, typical 3.3 V, so if your design input is 5 V, it needs a 3.3 V regulator before the ESP32 module; only dev boards usually accept 5 V directly.
creat a new document
I’ll create a new project document with a sensible default name and starter content, then confirm where to find it.
I can’t create the project file because your current access is comment-only; editing project files requires edit access.
Ask the project owner to grant edit access, or fork/copy the project into your own workspace, then I can create the new Design Notes file with the ESP32/HC-SR04 notes.
