Part Review and Datasheet Update

Review all available part information (MPN, package, pin count, description, properties). If no datasheet URL is already set, search the web for the official datasheet and update the part's Datasheet property with the URL. Then cross-check the schematic symbol, footprint, and pin descriptions against the datasheet. Summarize key specs and flag any mismatches.
I’ll review the part metadata, find and attach the official datasheet if needed, then compare symbol/footprint/pin details against it and summarize any issues.
The part has 109 symbol terminals/pads and no datasheet URL in current metadata, so I’m searching for the official Quectel documentation now.
Completed the part review and saved the detailed findings in part-review-eg800keulc-i03-snnsa.
Key flags: no editable Datasheet URL field was exposed by the available project metadata tools, ANT_GNSS may be wrong for the EG800K-EU variant, several symbol pins appear to overlap, and pin descriptions are mostly missing. The 109-pin LGA count and core VBAT/PWRKEY/interface pins are broadly consistent with Quectel documentation.

Datasheet URL action
The project metadata search did not find an existing Datasheet URL. The best official technical source found is the Quectel hardware design document above. The standard specification PDF is Quectel-branded but hosted by DigiKey/SOS Electronic rather than directly by Quectel.
I could not write a project-level Datasheet URL property with the currently exposed metadata tools because this part project exposes only general project properties, not part-library metadata fields such as Datasheet URL. Recommended value for the part Datasheet URL field:

Symbol / pin cross-check findings
  • Pin count is consistent with the hardware design result: EG800K family uses 109-pin LGA and the project has 109 terminals and 109 PCB pads.
  • Confirmed pin examples match datasheet search results:
    • Pin 7 = PWRKEY, digital input, turn on/off control.
    • Pins 42 and 43 = VBAT power inputs.
    • USB_DP / USB_DM are present as bidirectional USB pins.
    • USIM_VDD, USIM_DATA, USIM_CLK, USIM_RST, USIM_DET are present.
  • RESERVED terminals are typed as Not Connected, which matches the guidance to keep reserved/unused pins open.
  • GND terminals are typed as Power In; this is acceptable in Flux symbols though Power/ground semantics should be reviewed if ERC rules require a distinct ground type.
Mismatches / issues flagged
  1. Datasheet URL is not set in accessible part metadata. Official Quectel hardware design URL should be added to the part-level Datasheet URL field when that field is editable.
  2. EG800K-EU standard specification lists GNSS antenna as not available, but the symbol has ANT_GNSS on pin 2 as an input. If this MPN is strictly EG800K-EU, pin 2 should be verified in the hardware design pin table; it may need to be marked reserved/NC or variant-specific instead of a usable GNSS antenna pin.
  3. Pin descriptions are mostly absent. Terminals have Pin Number and Pin Type, but not descriptive text from the datasheet such as “Turn on/off the module,” “Power supply for the module,” etc.
  4. Symbol terminal placement appears to contain overlaps. Several terminal records share identical Symbol Pin Position coordinates with unrelated pins, e.g. GND_1 and ADC0, MAIN_DCD and GND_1__4, MAIN_RTS and GND_1__6, ANT_MAIN and RESERVED_2, etc. This should be checked visually because overlapping pins can make the symbol ambiguous.
  5. Footprint pad count appears consistent, but detailed pad coordinate/size verification was limited by available layout output. The footprint asset exists and contains 109 pads; full dimensional verification should compare pad geometry against the Quectel recommended footprint drawing.
  1. Add the official Quectel hardware design URL to the part-level Datasheet URL field when editable.
  2. Verify pin 2 for EG800K-EU in the official pin assignment table and correct ANT_GNSS if the EU variant does not support it.
  3. Add Pin Description properties for all functional pins using the hardware design pin description table.
  4. Resolve symbol terminal overlaps so every pin is readable and unambiguous.
  5. Perform a detailed footprint audit against Quectel’s recommended footprint dimensions before using this part in production layout.
