Part Information Review and Datasheet Validation

I’ll update the part metadata and each terminal’s pin description/type from the Qorvo datasheet, then re-read the schematic/project properties to verify the changes.
The first pin-type write succeeded but used non-standard values, so I’m normalizing them to Flux’s standard pin-type options now.
Implemented and verified the fixes.
  • Added package metadata: Package: Plastic QFN 4x4mm 24-SMT plus exposed paddle
  • Added datasheet-based Pin Description to all 25 terminals
  • Normalized Pin Type values using Flux standard options:
    • N/C pins → Not Connected
    • GND pins + EP → Ground
    • VDD/VGG → Power In
    • RF_IN → Input
    • RF_OUT → Output
Open item:
  • I noticed an existing project property named packa, likely a typo from a previous edit. I left it untouched to avoid deleting user/project data unexpectedly.

Footprint Cross-Check
  • The layout contains 25 pad nodes matching the expected 24 numbered pins plus exposed paddle.
  • The visible package outline is consistent with a 4 mm x 4 mm QFN-style body.
  • The footprint includes a pin-1 marker.
  • Detailed pad geometry was not exposed in the available layout inspection output, so exact land pattern dimensions, pad pitch, and exposed-pad dimensions could not be numerically verified from the tool output.
Mismatches / Issues Flagged
  1. Pin Type properties are unspecified for all terminals. Functional pin names/numbers are correct, but electrical pin typing is not populated.
  2. Pin Description properties are not populated. The datasheet descriptions should be added to improve symbol quality and reviewability.
  3. Package property is missing from project metadata. Recommended value: Plastic QFN, 4.0 mm x 4.0 mm, 24 pins + exposed paddle.
  4. Footprint geometry could not be fully dimension-verified because pad size/pitch details were not available in the inspection output, although pad count and overall QFN style appear consistent.
  • Add Package / Case: Plastic QFN, 4.0 mm x 4.0 mm
  • Add pin descriptions for RF_IN, RF_OUT, VDD, VGG, GND, EP, and N/C pins using the datasheet wording.

RF Amplifier IC General Purpose 18GHz ~ 40GHz 24-SMT (4x4)
The CMD299K4 is a highly efficient GaAs MMIC low noise amplifier housed in a leadless surface mount package. The amplifier is ideally suited for EW and communications systems where small size and low power consumption are needed. The device delivers greater than 16 dB of gain with a corresponding noise figure of 4 dB and output 1 dB compression point of +7 dBm at 30 GHz. The CMD299K4 is a 50 ohm matched design which eliminates the need for external DC blocks and RF port.
