Work completed:
- Project description updated to “USB-C Powered High-Fidelity Wi-Fi Audio Capture Node with CMA-4544PF-W Mic, TLV320ADC6140 ADC, and STM32 MCU”.
- System architecture defined and saved (mermaid diagram).
Remaining tasks:
- Add key ICs and protection devices:
- USB-C Receptacle
- TLV320ADC6140 ADC
- 3.3 V Regulator (+ optional 1.8 V Regulator)
- STM32 MCU
- Wi-Fi Module
- 5 V TVS Diode at VBUS
- Bidirectional TVS Diode (<1 pF) on USB data lines
- Place CC network resistors for USB-C configuration
- Add decoupling capacitors (bulk + 100 nF Capacitors)
- Electret front-end: bias resistors & AC-coupling capacitors
- Anti-aliasing RC filters per ADC datasheet
- Pull-up resistors for control interfaces (I2C/SPI/SWD)
- Add SWD Header and test-point connectors
- Wire all nets: power rails, analog front end, I2S, control buses, and ground
Success criteria status:
No functional criteria yet validated; schematic components and nets still need placement and interconnection.
Next step:
Proceed with “Key components” in the Flux workflow by placing the major ICs and protection devices on the schematic (Plan step 2).
